Tonight's Film Society Screening of The Shining is rained out, but Tennessee Williams is up next

The New Orleans Film Society screening of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining scheduled for tonight, May 15, at Clouet Gardens has been rained out and rescheduled for Friday, Nov. 13 at the same location. Next up for the Film Society is the 1961 British film adaptation of Tennessee Williams' novel The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone, starring Vivien Leigh and Warren Beatty. The film screens for free on Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m. at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in conjunction with its "Tennessee Williams: The Playwright and the Painter" exhibition.
