Indian Super Sunday AND the Single Men Social Aid and Pleasure Club's second lines are happening Uptown this Sunday. Injuns roll at 1 p.m., Single Men begin at 2 p.m.

INDIAN SUPER SUNDAY FESTIVAL & PARADE
 
11 a.m. SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 2015
 
A.L. DAVIS PARK (CORNER OF WASHINGTON AVENUE AND LASALLE)

There will be a full day of activities beginning at 11 a.m. at A.L. Davis Park at the corner of Washington Avenue and LaSalle Street with music by the likes of DJ Captain Charles, DJ Jubilee, vocalist Big Al Carson, rhythm and blues purveyors BRW and gospel vocalist Jo "Cool" Davis. There will also be activities for the kids.
 
The parade, complete with Black Indian gangs from across the city, takes off from the park at 1 pm. The procession, which includes the Hot 8 and Stooges brass bands, members of the Young Men Olympian Jr. Benevolent Association and the Lady Buckjumpers Social Aid & Pleasure Club and more, makes a "circle route."

Leaving park at Washington and LaSalle. Down LaSalle moving on to Simon Bolivar, turn left on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., left on South Claiborne Avenue, left on Washington Avenue and end at the park where the festivities continue.

Stop: The Gladstone Bar, 3435 Dryades St. Continue out Dryades to Seventh St.
 
Stop: Joe's House of Blues (tribute to Eljerome Combs). Continue on Dryades to Second St.
 
Stop: Sportsmen Annex Ladies. Continue out Dryades to Phillip St. Left on Phillip, back to Dryades to Felicity St.
 
Stop: Sing Ladies SA&PC. Continue out Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Left on MLK to S. Robertson St.
 
Stop: S&S Lounge (formerly Club Bali) Men of Unity SA&PC. Continue out MLK to S. Dorgenois St. Left on Dorgenois to Washington Ave. Left on Washington to Rocheblave.
 
Disband: Tapp's II Lounge
