Mia Borders performs at Wednesday at the Square in 2010.
One sure sign spring is almost here: The Young Leadership Council (YLC) has announced the lineup for the 16th annual Wednesday at the Square
concert series in Lafayette Square, which begins March 11 and runs for 12 weeks, through the end of May — with Irma Thomas closing out the final day.
Familiar names like Big Sam's Funky Nation, Dumpstaphunk, and Marcia Ball are among the performers who will be entertaining after-work crowds in the CBD starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Artists, food vendors and food trucks all will be part of the mix as usual. Admission, as always, is free.
