Dinner Lab to host "Clash of the Crawfish" competition

Are you the best crawfish boiler in New Orleans? Dinner Lab is offering you the opportunity to prove it this February.

Dinner Lab's first ever "Clash of the Crawfish" competition invites New Orleanians to go head-to-head in spicy battle on February 22 to see who is the best boiler in the city.

Last year, Dinner Lab hosted crawfish boils in its 7 non-Louisiana locations, with staff in the local cities playing host. This year, with 24 Dinner Lab cities outside the state, more manpower is need to help to carry out such a robust number of boils.

In addition to serious bragging rights, the winner of the crawfish competition will be invited to travel as a "guest chef" to several Dinner Lab cities on a mini-tour, showing off their boiling chops for a national audience.

If you think you're ready to ascend the throne to crawfish glory, sign up here, and come prepared on February 22 with your own boil materials (pot, propane, burner). Each contestant will receive a sack of crawfish and a stipend for supplies, and the winner will be selected by Dinner Lab guests. More details will be provided to contestants upon receipt of entry.
