After a dismal and disappointing 2014 season, many expected a lot of changes to come to the New Orleans Saints. It seems that Rob Ryan will not be one of those changes.

ESPN's Mike Triplett and Ed Werder report today that the Saints will keep Rob Ryan — and his magnificent hair — in charge of a defense that ranked second-to-last in yards given up per game. This news ends the speculation (fueled by numerous heated exchanges with head coach Sean Payton during games) that Ryan was on his way out as defensive coordinator.

Of course, there were plenty of problems with the Saints last season and, thanks to their salary cap situation, those problems will be very hard to fix. The Black and Gold seem to think that staying the course on defense is a better option than blowing it up and starting again. Let's hope they're right.
