Sony Pictures today announced the cancellation of the theatrical run of its Seth Rogan/James Franco comedy The Interview. The film had apparently inspired an unprecedented cyber attack on Sony in recent weeks. On Tuesday, direct threats on theaters planning to show the film were delivered anonymously to U.S. news outlets. Today, AMC and other major theater chains announced they would not be showing The Interview.
