After this month's Voodoo Music + Arts Experience headlining slot, Foo Fighters return to New Orleans for a much smaller gig at House of Blues. The band — promoting its HBO music documentary and album-in-the-making series (and album of the same name) Sonic Highways — performs Friday, Nov. 21. Tickets will likely sell out immediately. They go up at noon Wednesday, Nov. 19.

The show acts as a preview of its New Orleans-centric episode of Sonic Highways, which also airs Friday, Nov. 21. To promote its city-specific episodes, the band has performed intimate or interesting one-off gigs in their respective cities.

This is the band's third show in New Orleans this year, including its Preservation Hall appearance with fans crowding around the doors to catch a glimpse in May.
