Organizers for the 2014 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival released the coveted "cubes" schedules with times and stages for each performer at the 45th annual event April 25-May 4.
A few interesting programming notes: The Gentilly Stage is now the Samsung Galaxy stage, and the fest's longest slot goes to Phish, which gets a full three hours Saturday, April 26 on the Acura Stage.
Look for triple-threat headliners: Santana vs. Avett Brothers vs. Public Enemy on the first Friday, April 25 and Eric Clapton vs. Vampire Weekend vs. Charlie Wilson Sunday, April 26, and Christina Aguilera vs. Alabama Shakes vs. Chaka Khan vs. Pharaoh Sanders Friday, May 2.
Bruce Springsteen's under-two-hour set also is up against Foster the People and Trey Songz on Saturday, May 3, and festival closer Trombone Shorty is on the Acura Stage Sunday, May 4.
