3-Day Weekend: New Orleans sports calendar

  • Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The weather forecast looks pretty good this weekend. If you’re looking to avoid Family Gras in Metairie and parades all over the city, check out what’s going on in the sports world during the first big weekend of Mardi Gras. There’s a lot going on with basketball and baseball starting up.
