Chef Emeril Lagasse is offering an 18-recipe free download for the holidays. It features drinks, signature dishes from his restaurants, including andouille-crusted redfish, New Orleans barbecue shrimp with rosemary biscuits and banana cream pie, side dishes and recipes for traditional dishes such as chicken and sausage gumbo and chicken and andouille jambalaya. In other Emeril news, Emeril's Delmonico will begin serving Friday lunch on Dec. 6. The menu includes appetizers such as pumpkin gnocchi with duck prosciutto, mushrooms, asiago and sage ($10) and a house antipasto plate ($14). For entrees, there are fried oysters bordelaise with spaghetti, Parmesan and oven dried tomatoes ($17) and an 8-ounce New York strip with fries and red wine chimichurri ($29). From the bar, there are $5 wine and cocktail specials.
