  • Watch the Throne is set for an Aug. 8 release.

The hip-hop megastars, paired as The Throne, will hit New Orleans in the duo's fall tour, stopping at the New Orleans Arena on Saturday, Dec. 3.

West revealed the pair were working on an album, dubbed Watch the Throne, last year following the success of his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Pre-orders of the album include a free download of first single, "Otis" — or you can check out that track here, or here, on Jay's Life + Times website. The single features the pair going over a sample of Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness" (approved for use by Redding's daughter). Director Spike Jonze will helm the video.

West was just here for Essence Music Festival, and Jay performed here last in February 2010.

Tickets for the show go on sale 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8 — also the album's release date. Ticket prices are $47.50 to $197.50, plus the inevitable Ticketmaster service charges. Livenation is offering a pre-sale (with password "WTT") beginning tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Buy tickets at the New Orleans Arena Box Office, Ticketmaster.com, select Wal-Marts, and all Ticketmaster locations or by phone (800-745-3000).
