Fast Eddie Price has issued a response to the LA State Legislator's Audit which revealed improper use of public money and acceptance of gifts from firms under contract with the City of Mandeville.

I can say, unequivocally, that I have never intentionally done anything wrong, nor have I done anything that I did not believe was in the best interest of the City of Mandeville.

I have done nothing to warrant my resignation and do not believe that would be in the best interest of the City at this time.

Haven't we read this script about a dozen too many times in the last few months? Does it matter that Mayor Price is unequivocal about saying he hasn't intentionally done anything wrong? Does it matter what he believes to be in the best interest of Mandeville? Did he have Mandeville's best interest in mind when he got behind the wheel while intoxicated and nearly collided with a police car? Was the best interest of Mandeville his priority when he crashed through a Causeway toll gate and asked police not to make a big deal out of it?

Come on down, Mandeville, and let Mayor Price know that his days of playing Let's Make a Deal are over.
