Holiday Fantasies

My personal "official holiday shopping season" has commenced. I know people are already complaining about the early retail shopping push which starts in August these days, but there is one event that gets me giddy about the giving season.

That symbolic occurrence is the annual "Neiman Marcus Christmas Book." Every year when the book is released and the fabulous "Fantasy Gifts" are published, I eagerly gear up for garland and mistletoe. This year's book is the 100th year anniversary and starts with a beautiful photo spread of fashions artistically representing the past century.

As far the fantasy gifts, imagine giving or receiving a Triton 1000 Submarine (1.4 million) to explore the relics left in Lake Pontchartrain, or giving all 599 of your friends and family a private concert by the Kirov Orchestra in City Park (1.5 million).

My personal favorite fantasy gift of the year is the "Online Only Media Wall," which reminds me of a giant iPhone screen for your wall (starting at $100,000). Watch the video and get inspired for what technologies may develop in the next 100 years.
