Founded in the 17th century, Louis Latour has remained a family-owned and operated organization for more than 10 generations. Over the years, the producers/negociants amassed the largest Grand Cru holdings in the Cote d'Or. Raspberry scented with lively aromas, the wine exhibits both finesse and subtle power characteristic of red Burgundies with layers of red berry fruit on the palate, good acidity and a rounded structure. Good with grilled tuna, salmon, roast chicken and chops. Where to buy it: Prytania Liquor Store, Whole Foods Markets, Rouse's in Metairie and on the Northshore and Martin Wine Cellar's Magazine Street, Metairie and Northshore locations.
