A term coined by Robert Mondavi, Fume Blanc is just another name for Sauvignon Blanc. That obscurity solved, this Fume Blanc is produced in Washington State's Columbia Valley and reflects the region's reputation for clean, crisp air. The dewy aroma, supported by similar flavors, is a dead ringer for 7-Up and lime. You might also detect hints of tonic, honeydew melon and thawing, grassy fields. Cork it for baba ghanoush, stuffed grape leaves and pizzas with feta cheese. Found at selected Sav-A-Center locations. -- Roahen
