New Orleans night-lifers may have made it through the recent Of Montreal concert without getting sexually harassed, but they shouldn't consider themselves out of the woods just yet. With the King Khan & BBQ Show — ex-Spaceshits, concurrent Shrines, and Montreal's fuzziest, scuzziest doo-wop duo — One Eyed Jacks is welcoming a performer who, at a twin bill with the Black Lips in Germany, once relieved himself on a merch table before literally tossing a salad into the audience. (Needless to say, the King is persona non grata at MÜnster's Gleis 22.) "Unhinged" only begins to describe this two-person sonic tornado. As Khan sings and assaults a six-string, the seated BBQ performs yeoman duties at his side: playing guitar and tambourine with his top half while two seemingly autonomous appendages form a raucous rhythm section on the floor. Let's just hope they're the only band members that make an appearance. The Royal Pendletons, New Orleans' "Knaughty Knights of Rock 'n' Roll," open. Tickets $10 advance purchase, $12 at the door. — Noah Bonaparte Pais
