Taste of the NFL continues

The Super Bowl is more than two months away, but the event's signature culinary fundraiser is already in full swing in New Orleans. Each year, the Taste of the NFL gathers chefs to represent each city or region with a NFL franchise for a gala before the game. Proceeds benefit hunger-relief agencies. This year's main event will be on Feb. 2 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, and tickets start at $600.

In a new twist this year, the Taste of the NFL is hosting a series of smaller dinners and culinary events leading up to the Super Bowl. They've been underway at New Orleans restaurants since September, and a few more are right around the corner.
