BECA Gallery is closing its showroom at 527 St. Joseph St. but will continue to sell its art online at www.becagallery.com. BECA (Bridge for Emerging Contemporary Art) Gallery is a not-for-profit company that gives 100 percent of its earnings to the BECA Foundation, which supports new ideas in the visual arts and and design communities. In August, the space will reopen as CoLab Projects (566-8999; www.colabprojects.com), which will offer customers an interest-free purchase plan through which they can buy innovative art by emerging artists. Five percent of the purchase price will be donated to a nonprofit of the customer's choice.
