Women & Wine on Wednesdays will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at The Bridge Lounge (1201 Magazine St., 299-1888). The event, which is free, is designed to help women build relationships professionally and personally as well as to share resources and discuss opportunities.
Floor de Lis (3803 Toulouse St., 488-4880), a full-service floor-covering company, recently opened a store in Mid-City.
