River North Chicago Dance Company

comment
The first visit by River North Chicago Dance Company to New Orleans should be of interest to dance and music fans. The troupe focuses on contemporary jazz dance. Cuban-born choreographer Frank Chaves founded the company in 1989, and it has since climbed to the top of Chicago's dance scene. The group has been a proving ground for young dancers and new choreographers. The performance is presented by the New Orleans Ballet Association. Tickets $30 general admission, $15 students, $25 NOCCA members. — Will Coviello
