Those Darlins
Jan. 29 | Reconfigured from a Southern-accented all-female trio to co-ed, garage and art rock-infused indie favorites, Those Darlins released Blur the Line just before performing at 2013 Voodoo Experience. Bully opens at 8 p.m. at Gasa Gasa.

Delorean
Thu. Jan. 30 | Barcelona's Delorean traffics in the kind of serotonin-releasing electronic pop that fuels all-night dance parties on nearby Ibiza. The band's Majorca-key fourth release, Apar (True Panther), features cameos by Glasser's Cameron Mesirow and Chairlift's Caroline Polachek. Until the Ribbon Breaks opens at 8 p.m. at One Eyed Jacks.

House of Blues 20th anniversary
Sat. Feb. 1 | Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers headline a free show celebrating the 20th anniversary of the opening of New Orleans' House of Blues, now the oldest venue in the chain. Colin Lake and others perform at 9 p.m.

Darkside
Sun. Feb. 2 | Producer/composer Nicolas Jaar exploded slowly onto the electronic music scene with 2011's way-downtempo Space Is Only Noise, a collapsed star adrift in jazzy quietude. Psychic (Matador), his debut as Darkside with guitarist Dave Harrington, does for psychedelic rock what Space did for ambient techno. High Water opens at 9:30 p.m. at House of Blues.
