Ryan Chauvin suggests five new Saints jerseys worth putting under the tree

It's the week before Christmas, presents all but stacked, and you're left wondering what to get your favorite Who Dat.

Sure, they've got jerseys (numerically or alphabetically) all in a line: a Jimmy, a Drew, a Meachem, a Gleason, but it's the playoffs soon and your Who Dat should really shine.

Well, we're here to help — not us but Rob Ryan, whose young defensive talent has our team flyin'.

We're here to help your gift rise above, because while a 9 is great and an 80 is swell, a 94 still has that new car smell.

So run to the store and head straight for the back, because these defensive stalwarts aren't in the display rack. Not yet, anyway, but someday soon — so grab them now to make your Who Dat swoon.

93 Junior Galette
Galette could have been a victim of his own self-hype this season, but he's absolutely lived up to everyone's expectations. Everyone, that is, except maybe his own. Do yourself a favor and throw in a cheap fake beard with this jersey.

76 Akiem Hicks
Only in his second year, Hicks already has shown the flashes of a special player. He may be overshadowed by others on this list for now, but take note: Hicks will turn into a force to be reckoned with come the playoffs.

92 John Jenkins
This tackle from Georgia is still under the radar, but not for long. Jenkins has shown flashes of potential as a rotational nose tackle. Think of this as a long-term (but safe) investment.

94 Cameron Jordan
All roads lead to Jordan, who is, without a doubt, already the best defensive player on the team — and he's only 24. When Brees retires (blasphemy, I know), this'll be Jordan's team. So you'd best buy stock early, because it's only going up.

32 Kenny Vaccaro
Rob Ryan asks Vaccaro to wear many hats, and so far he's worn them all well. Give him another two years in this system and he'll be a Pro-Bowl lock for the foreseeable future.
