The wine-focused Le Meritage (1001 Toulouse St., 586-8000; www.lemeritagerestaurant.com) has officially replaced Dominique's as the main restaurant at the Maison Dupuy Hotel. Chef Michael Farrell's menu lists four categories of wine characteristics and suggests complementary vintages and dishes for each flavor profile. Every dish is available as a small plate or full-size entree. This week, Le Meritage kicks off the hotel's annual series of wine dinners called "French Quarter Wine Festival."
