There are too many burger joints, chefs' tables, sushi bars, pizza parlors and steakhouses to resist temptation. Give up everything else, but not coffeeshops or Creole landmarks. Keep going to the Chinese restaurants and new taquerias. Forsake all the other earthly pleasures and vices, but keep necessary sustenance. It's the prudent thing to do.
