10 p.m. Sunday
Circle Bar, 1032 St. Charles Ave., 588-2616
Etta Place, the unsigned Brooklyn band, doesn't yet have a legend to match Etta Place, the Texas prostitute-turned-outlaw who took up with the Sundance Kid's Wild Bunch and disappeared mysteriously in 1909. But it's no stretch to imagine this dollhouse pop — tapped out on creaky keyboards and smeared strings — emanating from some drunken brothel or hideaway hovel. Shreveport's Highway Lines opens. Free admission.
