Lafayette-born guitarist Paul "Lil' Buck" Sinegal (pictured) has long been a secret weapon for Louisiana music. Most famous for his many years as Clifton Chenier's sideman, Sinegal also is credited on more than 300 recordings since the '50s, when he honed his chops as part of the Excello Records studio band and opened up for R&B stars including Robert Parker, Percy Sledge and Joe Tex. At this gig, he'll trade licks with C.C. Adcock, who's been doing an able job carrying the torch of Southwest Louisiana music. Adcock plays in the swamp-pop all-star revue Lil Band O' Gold with veterans like drummer Warren Storm, and he also heads up the Lafayette Marquis, who add rock and fuzz to the classic bayou sound. Tickets $5. — Fensterstock
