British cheese expert Juliet Harbutt, editor of The World Cheese Book, will be in town next week for a pair of events hosted by local cheese emporium St. James Cheese Co. (5004 Prytania St., 899-4737; www.stjamescheese.com). On June 21, Harbutt leads a class at the Uptown shop dubbed "Strange Bedfellows," pairing cheeses with unconventional liqueurs and aperitifs. On June 22, she'll be part of a large wine and cheese pairing held in the loft offices of local distributor Purveyor of Fine Wines (www.winepurveyors.com).
