French Quarter Irish bar Flanagan's Pub (625 St. Philip St.) will close November 15, much to the chagrin of Irish car bomb drinkers and those searching for hearty, late night drunk food.
"The building changed hands, and the new owners didn't see Flanagan's as part of the building's future," said Andy Overslaugh. "The lease is up November 15, but we'll be here until then."
If you're looking for one last patty melt or bowl of lentil soup, there's still plenty of time to stumble in for a midnight snack. In the interim, the Flanagan's team is actively on the hunt for a new location. (For those concerned, rest easy: they'll still be operating their signature ghost tour.)
