Many New Orleanians remember Richard Fiske from his entertaining guests at The Bombay Club. Fiske and wife Willie moved to the New Orleans area in 1989 when Richard took a position at The Metairie Country Club. They bought The Bombay Club in 1996. Socially, they were familiar faces, riding in Carnival parades and marching with groups including the Society of St. Anne.
Richard died July 26. There is a second-line parade honoring him Sunday, Sept. 15. The parade begins at noon at the entrance to Louis Armstrong Park at St. Ann Street. The procession will make its way around the French Quarter and end at The Bombay Club.
