Gambit TV: 3-Day Weekend A&E picks — and Derek Kevra's weekend forecast

What's going on this weekend? Seems like there's a football game or two, or something ...

There's also plenty of music, movies, nightlife, etc. But first: WWL-TV meteorologist Derek Kevra's weekend forecast:

"There is one thing, and one thing only to worry about this weekend: Football. Starting on Friday, with Gleason Gras encouraging us to party early.. then rolling into LSU's home opener on Saturday... and finishing with a battle against the Falcons in the Dome on Sunday. The whole weekend will see afternoon highs in the low 90s with isolated showers and storms. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of... water. Yea, let's go with water."

Now for the A&E picks, courtesy of Noah Bonaparte Pais and Eric Paulsen. Among the topics: The Rough 7 record release party at d.b.a., Chelsea Wolfe at One Eyed Jacks, 20 Feet From Stardom at Chalmette Movies, Jim Fitzmorris and The NOLA Project's A Truckload of Ink, Tim Lee at the Shadowbox Theatre, Seeing Beyond the Ordinary at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and more.
