Django Unchained production designer J. Michael Riva dies of stroke in New Orleans

According to a story published this afternoon by the Associated Press, Hollywood production designer J. Michael Riva has died from a stroke he suffered on June 1 in New Orleans. Riva was in town working on the Quentin Tarantino movie Django Unchained. Riva's film credits include Iron Man, Lethal Weapon, Ordinary People, The Color Purple, and the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man.
