The New Orleans Film Society and the Contemporary Arts Center will present a screening of the documentary John Kennedy Toole: the omega point at the CAC this Sunday, March 25th, at 6:00 p.m. The film explores the story of author Toole and his Pulitzer Prize-winning New Orleans literary masterpiece, A Confederacy of Dunces. The screening will take place in conjunction with a book signing for a new biography of Toole called Butterfly in the Typewriter: The Tragic Life of John Kennedy Toole and the Remarkable Story of A Confederacy of Dunces. Both author Cory MacLauchlin and documentary director Joe Sanford will be on hand for a discussion following the film. Admission is $5 for NOFS/CAC members and $7 for non-members.
