Don’t make him mad. You won’t like him when he’s mad. You may not like Bill Bixby (Dr. David Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk television series), but fans will be happy his alter ego — Lou Ferrigno as a big, green hulk of muscle (and really bad hair) with primoridial instincts — is attending the 2012 Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con Jan. 28-29 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

The television series, which ran for five seasons from 1978 to 1982 and can still be seen in reruns, was based on a Marvel comic co-created by Stan Lee, who also will be at the convention along with William Shatner (Captain James Kirk in the original Star Trek television series) and others.

Ferrigno is a former Mr. Universe who runs a personal training business with clients such as actors Chuck Norris and Mickey Rourke. He also wrote the book Lou Ferrigno’s Guide to Personal Power, bodybuilding and Fitness for Everyone, and continues to act on TV as well as in movies.

The convention is 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29. Tickets are $25 each day or $40 for both days.
