No sexting in Texas




The Texas Legislature will consider a law making “sexting” illegal, with young people who send sexually explicit text messages facing a possible misdemeanor and up to a year in jail — and their parents being forced to pay for and attend classes with their child about the dangers of sexting.

Texas Sen. Kirk Watson, D-Austin, and Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott filed the bill making sexting illegal earlier this month. Read more here.
