Just breaking now:
A civil district court judge ruled against Mayor Ray Nagin, City Attorney Penya Moses-Fields and the city of New Orleans in a suit brought by WWL-TV in regards to public records requests for copies of Nagins e-mails and calendar for 2008.
In her ruling, Judge Rosemary Ledet found, the defendants actions not only unreasonable and arbitrary, but in flagrant violation of the law they have been sworn to uphold. ....
Of course, it may be a moot point, because as we all know, the mayor's emails from 2008 were deleted when the city IT department discovered that the server was getting full. Whoops.
