The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza is a bit behind the curve in reporting that Gov. Bobby Jindal wasn't vetted by the McCain campaign. No one was. But that's not a McCain problem. It's a GOP thing. Experience doesn't excite the base. Blind ideology, single-issue voting and gun ownership excites the party faithful. But at least the Washpo knows what Jindal looks like. Irony-lovers can read further and enjoy the part about the McCain camp being worried that Jindal wasn't experienced enough.
