Fresco artist Steve Bogdanoff has created limited-edition giclŽe prints of New Orleans' fleur de lis symbol called Vive la Nouvelle-Orleans (Long Live New Orleans). The number of prints produced — 287 — signify the number of years between 1718 and 2005 and the artist's hope the city will rise again. The prints, which sell for $145 unframed or $285 framed, are available at Bogdanoff Gallery (936 Royal St., 299-1500; www.bogdanoff.com). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Louisiana SPCA.
Yellow and green squares on aqua make up the background of this artwork that features a detailed black fish with red sparkles on it, all painted on a hard surface, $40, from Farrington Smith Gallery (832 Royal St., 529-9464).
Artist Robert Guthrie captures the spirit of the city with a brightly hued watercolor of a street scene titled Jazz Club (a closeup of the work itself is shown) that's beautifully matted and framed, $525, from Robert Guthrie Gallery (922 Royal St., 552-4511; www.robertguthrie.com).
