Boudin, Bourbon and Beer announces music lineup

The Emeril Lagasse Foundation's Nov. 13 fundraiser Boudin, Bourbon and Beer features sausages and pork dishes from an array of local and visiting chefs, bourbon cocktails from Buffalo Trace and Abita beers. It announced Alabama soul outfit St. Paul and the Broken Bones will headline the event at Champions Square. Also on the bill are singer-songwriter (and daughter of comedian Rob Schneider) Elle King, Sweet Crude and Napa Valley rockabilly band Silverado Pickups.

The event is co-hosted by chefs Lagasse, Mario Batali, Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski. The lineup of 50 chefs includes Matt Abdoo of New York's Del Posto, Jimmy Bannos Jr. of The Purple Pig and Jimmy Bannos Sr. of Heaven on Seven in Chicago, Bill Briand of Fisher's at Orange Beach Marina, Carey Bringle of Peg Leg Porker in Nashville, John Currence of City Grocery in Oxford, Mississippi, Frank Stitt of Highlands Bar and Grill in Birmingham, Kevin Rathburn of Rathburn Steak in Atlanta, Habteab Hamde of Bern's Steak House in Tampa and others. Local chefs include John Besh, Frank Brigtsen, Aaron Burgau, Justin Devillier, Tenney Flynn, Adolfo Garcia, John Folse, Alex Harrell, Nick Lama, Phillip Lopez, Tory McPhail, Alon Shaya, Susan Spicer and many others.

The Foundation also holds its Carnivale du Vin wine auction fundraiser that weekend.
